Vijay Subramanyam

Vijay Subramanyam is the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Consulting Industry Leader at KPMG in the US. In this role, he leads the firm’s consulting strategy and delivery for clients across the TMT sector, helping them navigate disruption, accelerate digital transformation, and unlock sustainable growth. With more than two decades of experience in management consulting, Vijay brings extensive knowledge in enterprise transformation, business model transitions, technology strategy and modernization, risk & compliance and cyber security. He works closely with C-suite leaders to drive innovation through AI-powered solutions, data-driven decision-making, and agile operating models tailored to the unique challenges of the TMT industry.

Vijay has held several leadership roles at KPMG, including Principal in Transformation Delivery leading the TMT Industry and Partner at KPMG in India where he was Chief Operating Officer of Risk Consulting. He has been instrumental in shaping KPMG’s approach to intelligent enterprise transformation, engineering culture, and ethical AI adoption. He is a frequent contributor to thought leadership on topics such as digital acceleration, talent strategy, and the future of technology-enabled business models.
