Stephen Stewart is a Managing Director in KPMG LLP’s Houston, TX office. With over 20 years of specialized experience in both real and personal property tax matters, Stephen has a proven track record of advising clients on complex property tax issues on a national scale.
Throughout his career, Stephen has provided multi-jurisdictional property tax services, including appeals, audit defense, compliance, real and personal property valuation, and tax research. His client portfolio includes leaders in chemicals & refining, commercial real estate, data centers, electric utilities, farming & agriculture, food processing, industrial manufacturing, oil field services, paper and forest products, and television & motion picture production.
Stephen holds and BA in Business from Southwestern University, an MBA From Texas State University, and is a Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI).
