Ryan is a Licensed U.S. Customs Broker with extensive experience in international trade consulting, customs compliance, and process optimization. He helps organizations reduce costs, improve operational efficiencies, and strengthen trade compliance programs through the strategic use of data analytics and innovative solutions. Ryan has particular expertise in domestic content analyses under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), helping clients identify and capture significant tax and incentive opportunities.

Ryan proactively partners with clients to develop strategic and practical trade compliance solutions while maintaining strong communication to manage expectations and drive successful outcomes. He has extensive experience leading trade compliance transformation initiatives, including import and export classification, free trade agreement qualification, standard operating procedure (SOP) development, and organizational restructuring efforts.

His experience includes conducting large-scale tariff classification projects within the life sciences and chemical industries, covering products such as compounds classified under Chapters 29, 34, and 38 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, organic surface-active agents and preparations, polymers, adhesives, defoaming agents, and various chemical mixtures.

Ryan is skilled in leveraging emerging technologies, including Alteryx, to solve complex trade compliance challenges, streamline processes, and enhance data-driven decision-making. He has successfully completed dozens of IRA domestic content analyses at both the product and project levels, helping clients recover millions of dollars in available incentives.

Additional experience includes:

  • Serving as onsite support for a large pharmaceutical company, helping improve day-to-day trade compliance operations and processes.
  • Drafting Prior Disclosures and responses to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Requests for Information (CF-28) and Notices of Action (CF-29) related to a variety of customs compliance matters.
