Dane Sanders

Dane Sanders is a Partner in the Business Tax Services practice at KPMG, bringing over two decades of extensive experience to the firm. With a broad and diverse client base, Dane has managed a wide array of tax-related projects for U.S., multi-national, and foreign-owned clients. His expertise spans the preparation and review of income tax returns for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and non-profits. Dane is adept at preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual income tax provisions, ensuring compliance with both U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards.

His professional and industry experience is extensive, covering sectors such as manufacturing, telecommunications, software/technology, life sciences, retail, and restaurants/franchising. Dane has provided strategic tax advice on numerous transactions and issues, including the sale of business units, foreign restructuring, tax treaty research, partnership basis adjustments, and IRS and state examination defense. He is also well-versed in accounting methods, credits, and SALT planning. Dane leverages advanced technical skills with tools such as RIA’s GoRS, CCH Tax Research Software, Westlaw, and RIA Checkpoint to deliver comprehensive and accurate tax solutions to his clients.
