Gerard Rose specializes in information reporting and withholding for global custodians, registered funds, and alternative fund US tax obligations. He brings deep knowledge to the complex domain of global custodianship, supporting tax withholding and reporting requirements for both registered and alternative funds under US regulations.

Prior to joining KPMG, Gerard spent 16 years at a global custodian, where he was responsible for maintaining and implementing US tax products for custody and fund clients. He provided direct support to global custodians and fund clients in meeting their US tax requirements. His contributions included key projects such as FATCA/CRS implementation, cost basis reporting enhancements, and compliance with §§ 871(m), 305(c), and 1446(f).

Gerard holds a J.D. from Touro Law Center and a B.S. from Nova Southeastern University.
