National Managing Partner, Audit Quality and Professional Practice
Jason Rash is the National Managing Partner, Audit Quality and Professional Practice at KPMG US. He leads the strategic oversight of audit quality control, technical accounting and professional practice for over 900 Audit partners and 7,000 Audit professionals across the firm, in addition to fostering a culture anchored in integrity, ethics and trust. Jason shapes the firm’s national approach to audit quality, technology adoption, regulatory readiness and methodology—ensuring KPMG delivers an exceptional audit experience in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Prior to this role, Jason served as the Audit Partner responsible for the KPMG professional practice and risk management functions for the US South Central region. With more than 25 years of experience, he has built a strong reputation as a technical leader in audit quality and issues in accounting and the regulatory space. Jason is an SEC Reviewing Partner, providing guidance and technical oversight for client filings and complex financial reporting issues, and contributed to national guidance as a member of the AICPA Revenue Recognition Task Force for Engineering and Construction Contractors. His experience spans a wide range of SEC and accounting matters, including initial public offerings, carve-out financial statements, business combinations, pro forma financials and other ’33 and ’34 Act filings.
He spent three years in the KPMG National Office in New York, where he served as a technical resource for partners and professionals across the firm on the interpretation and application of auditing, accounting and regulatory standards. Jason also brings specialized knowledge from his role as the Audit Leader for the firm’s Engineering and Construction practice, where he advised KPMG teams and clients on industry developments, business issues and accounting and auditing topics. His experience and leadership continue to position him as a trusted authority on audit quality and regulatory compliance within KPMG and across the profession.

He brings deep technical expertise and a forward-looking mindset, prioritizing data-driven insights and quality audits while empowering KPMG engagement teams to navigate complex accounting standards and emerging risks with confidence.
