Murat is a Director in the Financial Services Regulatory & Compliance Risk practice at KPMG with more than 20 years of accounting, regulatory and financial operations experience with various financial services organizations. He specializes in broker dealer financial and operational regulation, trade reporting and regulatory reporting. His experience has exposed him to a vast range of compliance and interpretive matters relating to regulatory risk. Murat has provided his expertise to some of the world’s largest retail and institutional broker dealers, banking organizations, and regulators. His regulatory experience has given him an extensive understanding of SEC and FINRA examination and surveillance programs, as well as broker dealer operational challenges.
