Orla J O'Connor

Orla is a Principal in M&A Tax specializing in Asset Management and Real Assets, and Local Office Lead for KPMG US in London.

Orla advises clients with life cycle services, from fund structuring and formation, through investment transaction structuring and due diligence, and into the post-closing integration and tax compliance and reporting services.  She has a special focus on real estate, infrastructure, and incentive programs that provide community impact, as well as tax policy and cross border issues.

Prior to joining KPMG, Orla was tax counsel at Goldman Sachs and the Carlyle Group, and Acting Special Counsel to the Deputy Chief Counsel (Technical) at the Internal Revenue Service.
