Kelly Nelson

Kelly Nelson is Senior Manager in KPMG’s Trade & Customs practice. She has experience in trade and customs compliance planning and structuring for public and privately held clients.

Kelly’s trade and customs experience includes helping large companies with their recordkeeping procedures and to prepare for U.S. Customs Focused Assessment audits. In addition, she has worked closely with importers in the Importer Self-Assessment program to conduct annual audits and worked on valuation reconciliation projects. Kelly has assisted several companies to prepare profiles of their import activities, which includes Importer Trade Activity data analysis and U.S. Customs Automated Commercial Environment Portal reports. Kelly has also assisted many clients with filing and creating protest on special trade programs. She has also helped manage and monitor CTPAT status for many of her clients.
