Kevin Menarguez

Kevin is a Manager in the KPMG Trade & Customs practice. Since joining KPMG, he has assisted clients with Duty Drawback, U.S. import and export compliance, data analytics, and global trade automation.
Kevin has supported clients across multiple industries by helping them take control of their trade functions and data, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies within their global trade operations. His experience includes conducting reviews of client import and export compliance procedures through on-site interviews, reviewing trade documentation, and testing transactional data to assess compliance and risk.
He has assisted in the design and implementation of automated models to enhance duty drawback programs and support the submission of duty drawback claims to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Kevin has also built data analytics and reporting solutions to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve process efficiencies, and automatically track key metrics and performance indicators.
In addition, Kevin monitors regulatory and system changes affecting the U.S. Duty Drawback program, including updates to customs regulations, tariff changes, and CBP Trade Automated Interface Requirements. He supports clients with data gathering from multiple data sources and ERP systems to help automate drawback programs and improve accuracy and scalability.
Kevin also assists clients in preparing for regulatory changes that may impact their business, including updates related to Sections 301 and 232. He supports the design and implementation of automated models to determine Free Trade Agreement eligibility for client products.
Kevin specializes in helping clients leverage their data to support U.S. import and export compliance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement global trade automation solutions. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Accounting and Business Analytics from Ithaca College and is a Certified Customs Specialist.
