Dana McFerran is a Partner in the Forensic practice for KPMG LLP. She has spent over 24 years focusing on financial statement analysis, financial reporting and general fraud and misconduct investigations, Foreign Corruption Practices Act investigations and due diligence procedures, the evaluation and monitoring of corporate and regulatory compliance programs, post-acquisition dispute arbitration matters, expert witness services, litigation support and damage claim analyses across all industries. Dana has conducted a wide variety of forensic accounting investigations in connection with management and Audit Committee investigations, DOJ, SEC and international enforcement proceedings. Many of these matters have resulted in assisting clients enhance their compliance programs and controls to help mitigate bribery and corruption and general compliance and fraud risks. Dana spent two years in KPMG's Audit practice prior to joining the Forensic practice.
Professional and Industry Experience
Dana has led numerous cross-border investigations in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions in connection with SEC enforcement proceedings and DOJ investigations for global clients across Life Sciences and various other sectors. Many of these matters resulted in the development of enhanced written policies and procedures, remediation recommendations, development of compliance monitoring techniques and training programs.
