Erin McCloskey

Erin is a partner in the KPMG Department of Professional Practice (DPP). As a member of DPP, Erin provides technical Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting assistance and provides guidance on interpreting and implementing new SEC rules and announcements as they occur. She closely monitors the regulator’s rulemaking process, contributes to the drafting of the Firm’s formal responses to proposed rules, authors technical publications on various SEC topics, and facilitates updates on SEC financial reporting matters on webcasts, podcasts and at conferences. Erin serves as a KPMG representative on the Center for Audit Quality International Practices Task Force.
Before joining DPP, Erin provided financial statement audits to clients of varying sizes and industries. She spent four years in the KPMG Auckland, New Zealand office, where she served multinational public and private companies that reported in accordance with IFRS. Prior to New Zealand, Erin spent nine years in the KPMG Philadelphia office, providing audit services to large SEC registrants in accordance with PCAOB requirements and to private companies and not-for-profit entities.
Erin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Pennsylvania and New York.
