Christopher McDonald

Technology Assurance Leader for the US KPMG Audit and Assurance practice. He brings extensive experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams in the audit of information systems, including network security, application controls, business processes, change management, system development, and IT operations.

Chris advises organizations on navigating complex and evolving technology landscapes, with a focus on ERP transformations, IT governance, cybersecurity, and internal controls over financial reporting. He has partnered with global organizations across industries to enable technology-driven business transformation while maintaining strong, well-controlled IT environments.

He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Chris previously served as a founding member of KPMG’s Tech Assurance National Automation Steering Committee and as the Tech Assurance Leader for the South Central Business Unit.
