Ashley recently joined KPMG Law Staffing from the KPMG Mergers & Acquisitions Tax practice where she co-led the Legal Entity Rationalization and Restructuring (LER) service offering.  Ashley brings more than 12 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions Tax at KPMG LLP, including providing U.S. and international consulting services (e.g., structuring, diligence), specifically addressing tax issues related to cross-border and domestic mergers, acquisitions, tax-free reorganizations, restructurings, and divestitures.

At KPMG Law Staffing, Ashley focuses on Global Entity Management Services (GEMS) and legal services related to M&A, LER, and intercompany contracting arrangements (e.g., financing, management).

Ms. Marx earned her undergraduate degree in financial economics from Moravian University and her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. Ashley is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
