Ashley Marx
Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions Tax
Ashley Marx is a Managing Director in the KPMG Philadelphia Mergers and Acquisitions Tax practice with over ten years of experience. At KPMG, Ashley focuses on providing various U.S. and international tax consulting services, specifically in regard to tax issues that arise in connection with cross-border and domestic mergers, acquisitions, tax-free reorganizations, restructurings, and divestitures. Ashley is an advanced user of KPMG’s Legal Entity Management tool and is a national specialist in the M&A Legal Entity Rationalization (LER) practice. Ashley also has experience working with tax cooperatives.
Ms. Marx earned her undergraduate degree in financial economics from Moravian University and her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. Ashley is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She was published in the Spring 2020 edition of The Cooperative Accountant (“US Tax Court: Cooperative Payment Ruling Summary”) and she currently updates the IBFD Topical Analysis on United States Mergers & Acquisitions.
