Cecil is the KPMG U.S. Sector Leader for Technology, where he leverages his 27 years of experience helping some of the largest and most influential technology companies navigate a dynamic business environment and unlock opportunities with AI and other digital transformation capabilities. He is responsible for the Technology Sector strategy and execution across KPMG’s Audit, Tax, and Advisory practices. Cecil is also a Lead Partner and one of the firm’s SEC Reviewing Partners based in KPMG's Silicon Valley office.

Previously, Cecil served a fellowship in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the US Securities & Exchange Commission and as a Partner in KPMG’s National Office, consulting with teams and clients on complex technical accounting, auditing, and SEC reporting matters.

Cecil is currently a board member of the Silicon Valley Education Foundation, which strives to close the achievement gap and prepare students for college and career success. He was previously a board member of the Resource Area for Teaching, whose mission is to transform a child’s learning experience through engaging STEAM resources that encourage the next generation of innovators, problem solvers, and creators.
