Rachel is a senior manager in the KPMG Business Tax Services practice with eighteen years of experience in corporate and pass-thru entity tax compliance issues for both public and privately held clients.
Rachel’s forest products experience includes tax consulting, planning, and structuring as well as federal and state entity taxation compliance. She has experience with specific tax matters such as Sections 631(a) and 631(b), like kind exchanges, reforestation issues, REIT compliance, and depletions calculations.
Rachel has also assisted in writing two tax opinions regarding timber REIT issues and assists in leading the KPMG forest products industry go-to-market team.
