Mark is a Director based in Los Angeles within KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice focusing on financial due diligence in Technology transactions. He has more than 13 years of public accounting experience in the United Kingdom and United States, including over 5 years focused exclusively on M&A.

Professional and Industry Experience

Mark has advised significant private equity and strategic buyer clients on a wide array of operational and financial due diligence, accounting structuring, carve out issues and financial reporting aspects of transactions. He has extensive experience across industries including software and other technology (enterprise, SaaS, hardware, semiconductors).

Mark has provided buy-side due diligence and advisory for over $40 billion of closed or contemplated transactions, with a primary focus on the technology, media and telecommunications sector.

• Silver Lake and Michael Dell acquired Dell in a take-private transaction (2013).
• Insight Venture Partners submitted an offer for Quest Software in a take-private transaction (2013).
• TA Associates/IONTrading acquired Triple Point Technology, which provides commodity trading software solutions.
• TA Associates acquired a majority investment in Bomgar Software Solutions, a leading provider of enterprise remote support solutions (2014).
• Goldman Sachs invested in Credible Behavioral Health, Inc. an electronic health record and practice-management software company (2015).
• Goldman Sachs invested in a portfolio management software company (2015).
• Clearlake Capital acquired Syncsort (2015).
• Thompson Street Capital Partners acquired Global Software (2016).
• Clearlake Capital acquired Vision Solutions (2016).
