Janessa Howarth

Janessa Howarth is a Partner in KPMG's Deal Advisory & Strategy practice focusing on Financial Due Diligence. She has 17 years of experience having started in the Audit practice of KPMG and then transferring to the Deal Advisory practice after four years.
Janessa's portfolio of audit clients included publicly and privately held corporations, including Royal Philips, and required significant interaction with KPMG International member firms. Within Deal Advisory, Janessa has provided transaction support to both private equity and strategic clients.
The due diligence engagements Janessa has led, both domestically and overseas, have ranged from $5 million to $5 billion in purchase price. She has conducted numerous due diligence investigations of target companies in various industries, including Healthcare, Retail and Consumer Products, Distribution, IT Services, and Industrial and Business Services.
Janessa is the co-chair of KPMG's Network of Women (KNOW), is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a licensed CPA.
She holds her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Boston College.
