Kristy Hornland is a Director of Trusted AI and the Lead Securing AI Director at KPMG US, where she was a lead contributor to the development and delivery of their Securing AI framework, Trusted AI framework, and services based on leading guidance from the NIST AI RMF 1.0, MITRE ATLAS, and the EU AI Act in 2022 and is involved on the ongoing development and evolution of the firm's approach globally. She has led the delivery of governance programs as well as technology deployments of responsible AI platforms for over 12 organizations across life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, and government industries to secure their AI innovations. Over her 10 year career, she has consistently worked on emerging technology, regulations, and threats.
She is currently the lead for the Global Resilience Federation’s AI Security working group, was part of the incubator team for Cranium, and has delivered SANS trainings covering core AI security concepts relevant for security professionals today.
