Justin Hill
Partner, Tax, WNT - SALT Income & Incentives
Justin Hill is a partner in the firm’s Washington National Tax practice, State and Local Tax (SALT) group. Based in Dallas, Justin works with companies across the country on state and local tax planning and structuring initiatives and serves as a technical resource for the firm on all state income tax matters, particularly those involving federal tax reform. He works closely with KPMG’s National Value Chain Management group, International Tax practice and Complex Transactions group structuring multi-jurisdictional transactions, with a focus on state and local tax issues. Justin also routinely assists clients in all industries on return review engagements and controversy matters.
Prior to rejoining KPMG in 2019, Justin was a SALT partner at another Big Four firm. Earlier in his career, he practiced as an attorney specializing in international taxation at Baker & McKenzie in New York.
Justin is a frequent speaker and writer on a variety of state and local tax topics. He received his JD degree, magna cum laude, from Fordham Law School. Justin also holds an LLM degree in taxation from New York University School of Law and a BBA degree in accounting from Baylor University. He is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the Dallas Bar Association.
