Rayford is Office Managing Partner for the KPMG Fort Worth office. He is an Audit Partner with more than 25 years of experience providing audit and assurance-related services to public and private clients across the retail, manufacturing, energy, and financial services industries.

Professional and industry experience Rayford has extensive experience with SEC-related matters including debt and equity offerings, acquisitions, and fresh-start accounting. He participated in a two-year rotation in KPMG’s Global Service Center, where he supported domestic and international engagement teams in implementing audits of internal controls over financial reporting. His contributions included developing effective audit plans and enhancing audit execution strategies.

Rayford oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all audit services for his clients. As the primary point of contact, he prioritizes proactive communication to address critical matters promptly. He works closely with his team to ensure quality and consistency across all components of the audit, delivering an exceptional audit experience tailored to each client’s needs.

Rayford joined KPMG in 1995 and was admitted to the partnership in 2008. He is known for his collaborative leadership style, mentorship, and commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture.

In his current role, Rayford leads nearly 185 professionals across Audit, Tax, and Advisory practices, guiding the strategic direction and growth of the Fort Worth office while supporting career development and upholding KPMG’s core values.
