Megan is an audit partner in the KPMG Department of Professional Practice with over 15 years of experience. Megan specializes in technical accounting, SEC reporting matters, and auditing. Megan rejoined KPMG in 2024 after completing a professional accounting fellowship at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the Office of the Chief Accountant (OCA). During her fellowship, Megan led and participated in consultations with registrants, other commission divisions and offices, and standard setters addressing complex accounting and financial reporting issues spanning various topics such as revenue, business combinations, consolidations, leases, income taxes and ESG. 

Prior to her fellowship, Megan spent 13 years serving in both the KPMG Department of Professional Practice and KPMG Denver’s audit practice primarily providing accounting and auditing services to public companies in the technology, media and telecommunications, real estate, and consumer markets industries.

Megan earned a Master of Science in Accounting from University of Denver and is a Certified Public Accountant in Colorado, New York and Washington D.C.
