Emma Greenfield is a Director in the KPMG UK Company Secretarial practice with over twenty years of experience in governance across FTSE100 companies, financial services, and professional services sectors. At KPMG, Emma specializes in helping clients develop and enhance subsidiary governance processes and entity management, delivering company secretarial and governance services through a practical, business-oriented approach. Emma is committed to providing high-quality, thoughtful advice tailored to the unique culture and requirements of each organization. She is a qualified member of the Chartered Governance Institute.
Prior to joining KPMG, Emma held several senior in-house roles. She managed governance and company secretarial duties for UK and global subsidiaries, provided board support to key UK trading entities, and oversaw governance, operations, and compliance for more than 700 UK entities. Additionally, Emma led a team that provided secretarial services to an investment banking division ensuring compliance for over 150 UK and 600 overseas entities.
In addition to her in-house experience, Emma has delivered advisory support to clients on a range of company secretarial and governance matters. She has prepared and advised on subsidiary governance policies and legal entity changes for a major investment management firm, managed incorporation, local registrations, and governance processes for a prominent engine manufacturing company expanding into over 20 new markets, delivered comprehensive Board Support services on an outsourced basis for a financial services client, and managed global entity management outsourcing projects for several large multinational corporations.
