Todd Fowler

Todd Fowler serves as the U.S. Sector Leader for the Energy, Natural Resources and Chemicals sector at KPMG, where he spearheads the Energy practice. In this role, he is responsible for the creation of leading industry services, thought leadership and go-to-market strategies across KPMG Audit, Tax, and Advisory functions. Based in KPMG’s New York office, Todd specializes in both industrial markets and the power and utilities sectors. He has built an impressive career, leveraging extensive international experience working with large multinational SEC audit clients. His skill set encompasses a wide range of services, including SEC filings for both foreign and domestic corporations, carve-out financial statement audits, public debt and equity offerings, securitizations, and IFRS conversions.

With three years of valuable international experience at KPMG in Germany, Todd has successfully served one of KPMG’s largest clients worldwide, highlighting his capability to navigate complex financial audits in a global context. His leadership focuses on coordinating large multinational audit engagements, which ensures a robust understanding of varied regulatory and financial expectations across different regions.

Todd Fowler's academic foundation is built on solid credentials from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He earned a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Finance. In his professional journey, Todd has held several critical positions at KPMG. He progressed from Senior Associate to Manager, then Senior Manager, and currently, he stands out as a Partner at KPMG US. Todd's extensive experience includes leadership roles in various multinational audit engagements, where he expertly addresses the complexities associated with public debt offerings and FERC reporting requirements. He is also proficient in guiding teams through IFRS conversions, ensuring that clients meet international accounting standards effectively.

Todd has also been named a member of the Board of Directors for the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, Inc.. MGFA is the largest, leading patient advocacy organization solely dedicated to finding a cure for the rare neuromuscular disease myasthenia gravis (MG) while improving the lives of people living with MG. MGFA is focused on funding the most promising research discoveries for better treatments and a cure while providing impactful programs, guidance, and education to help support members of the MG Community.
