Deirdre is a Tax Partner in KPMG’s Asset Management practice and serves as the Global Head of Asset Management Tax and the US Tax Lead of the Public Investment Management. She has more than 20 years of experience serving clients in the mutual fund, business development company (BDC) and private equity fund space with a focus on financial products, withholding implications, and tax operating model transformation. Deirdre serves on the Investment Company Institute Tax and Advisory Group Board and launched the KPMG Women in Mutual Funds Network, including a Board Readiness Program, to prepare the next generation of leaders, foster a community, and support the recruitment, retention, and advancement of diversity in the industry.
