Tarek Ebeid

Tarek Ebeid is Northern California Partner in Charge of Audit. In this role, he leads audit partners and professionals in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Walnut Creek, Sacramento, and Honolulu, with oversight for business and financial operations and resource management, including hiring and retention. Based in our San Francisco office, Tarek has over 30 years of experience principally serving public traded banking and capital markets clients, and most recently served as Bay Area Partner in Charge of Professional Practice, overseeing risk and audit quality related matters for the Bay Area business unit. He has also served as the global lead audit partner for the largest private equity audit client of the firm, and leading financial institutions. Tarek is also a firm-designated Securities and Exchange Commission reviewing partner and has served in that capacity for the past 15 years.

Tarek advises organizations on matters related to the scaling and enhancement of operations and controls to sustain effective organizational growth. He also advises clients on topics related to emerging accounting and regulatory matters, SEC reporting and disclosures, business combinations, financial instruments, fair value measurements, derivatives, credit risk and administration, and capital structures.

Tarek has served on the board of Vascular Cures, a non-profit organization devoted to the research of vascular disease. He currently serves on the Dean’s Circle of the School of Management as well as being advisory board member for the accounting program at the University of San Francisco.
