Giorgio is a Partner and has been with KPMG since 2012. He is member of the Steering Committee of the Global Tax Dispute Resolution & Controversy team of KPMG International.
During his professional time at KPMG, Giorgio has specialized in tax litigations (CIT, VAT and registration tax) and international tax matters, especially PE issues. He helps major clients from different industries - steel, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive etc - to liaise with the Italian tax authorities during tax audits and compromise procedures and represent clients in litigation before tax courts.
He also assists clients with refund procedures (CIT, VAT, bank guarantees’ costs, interest etc) from the Italian tax authorities, including court trials.
Giorgio is author of several publications, including “Tax dispute resolution in Italy – The new enhanced relationship between the Italian tax administration and taxpayers”.
