Stephen leads the KPMG Audit Committee Institute (ACI). As part of the KPMG Board Leadership Center (BLC), the ACI supports audit committee members in their oversight of financial reporting and audit quality, as well as other issues of interest, including risk oversight and internal controls.
Stephen has more than 28 years of experience with KPMG, primarily serving publicly traded clients in the energy and chemical sectors. In addition to serving as the lead audit partner for a significant client, he is the account executive for several clients and an SEC reviewing partner. He previously served as the Houston Business Unit Audit partner-in-charge.
