- Collaborated with numerous international companies to revamp their global trade processes and implement trade automation. This involved deploying SAP GTS, SAP Order to Cash and Procure to Pay including additional GTM and external tools like E2Open, Descartes, Terminal49 and OpenText. Provided comprehensive client support during every phase of the deployment process, including Design and Build, Testing, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
- Developed innovative solutions to meet global trade automation needs for SAP GTS customers, such as the SAP GTS localization for Mexico and Brazil, classification inheritance at the 6-digit level, preference certification for multiple HTS codes, intercompany long-term supplier Declaration mirroring, spreadsheet generation and processing to improve certificate of origin handling, creation of inbound invoices from external sources and reconciliation / duty drawback enhancements.
- Led multiple full cycle SAP GTS implementations for several companies, concentrating on Customs and Preference Management, as well as Sales, Distribution, and Material Management on the SAP ERP side.
- Contributed to the original release of SAP GTS 1.0 to 10.0 as a member of the SAP GTS standard development team, where he developed the AES and ABI functionality for the U.S., among others.
- Serves as a recurring presenter at national trade and technology conferences and webcasts, such as SAPPHIRE, ICPA, SAP for Global Trade and Tax, Espresso Tutorials, etc. He regularly publishes articles on international trade, focusing on technology and automation.
