Tom Condon is the U.S. national partner-in-charge of the KPMG Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice. He leads a team of over 1,000 professionals, including more than 75 partners and managing directors, providing tax, technology, and advisory services to companies with mobile employees who cross borders both internationally and within the United States. The mobility space is evolving at the most rapid pace in history, so he is keenly focused on design thinking, continuous innovation and elevating the client/user experience.
Tom previously served as the U.S. Operations Leader for GMS, driving delivery excellence and operational efficiency at the national level. His responsibilities included oversight for shared service delivery centers, compliance technology and automation, campus recruiting strategy, business enablement, and optimizing all aspects of process administration. Tom also spent nine years as the GMS Major Market Leader for Metro New York, leading a team of 200+ GMS professionals, with responsibility for market growth, service delivery optimization, and talent development. Earlier in his career, Tom completed an international assignment in Brussels, Belgium, deepening his understanding of the complexities of cross-border mobility programs.
Tom is a recognized leader in the global mobility tax and advisory industry, with nearly 30 years of experience and a distinguished track record serving many of the firm’s most prestigious global clients. Tom has deep technical experience in inbound and outbound U.S. federal and state taxation of globally mobile individuals, as well as international tax planning, cross-border equity compensation, business traveler reporting/withholding and policy design. He leads the delivery of tax advisory and compliance services, with a focus on supporting the needs of multiple stakeholder groups, including Human Resources, Payroll/Executive Compensation, Immigration, Finance, and Corporate Tax.
