Kelly is a Managing Director in KPMG’s Digital Solutions & Architecture team and is a US solution leader for Trusted AI focused on operating model, supporting processes, and operationalizing the development lifecycle for AI. She has led and executed engagements across a range of industries including Technology, Consumer Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare and Life Sciences. Kelly has delivered a wide range of innovative solutions to clients including emerging technologies solution design and implementation, data as an asset, operating model design and implementation, use case identification, and operationalizing AI use cases. Kelly was named one of IBM’s Top 40 Global Women in AI in 2019 and Chicago Crain’s Women in Stem in 2020.

- Kelly has led a wide range of engagements including implementation of governance constructs and operating models for digital technologies, helping build digital solutions to solve complex business problems, and discrete advisory assessments to understand the risk, regulatory and compliance implications of digital technologies.
- Assisted with design and evaluation of Responsible AI initiative at large technology conglomerate with 30,000+ production AI models, development of processes to assess AI across the development lifecycle and meet control and regulatory requirements.
- Performed numerous AI use case assessments for financial services institutions to help improve AI capabilities, methodology, operating model, and how to standardize ways of working and toolsets for data science.
- Performed an AI governance assessment for an asset management organization to help evaluate the methodology, operating model and strategy around AI within the organization. In addition, performed benchmarking assessment and evaluated an example ML use case to identify areas of improvement.
- Performed GenAI governance and operating model assessment, including understanding the security implications for GenAI against business use cases.
- Performed numerous projects for a healthcare insurer focused on creating an ecosystem of tools (automation, analytics, AI) across a large user base, evaluating data requirements, storage and access, standardizing how use cases are developed to deployment, evaluated improving processes from ideation through enablement, assessing risk, and built accelerators to operationalize the AI lifecycle.
- Performed an automation build of compliance use case for large life sciences client looking to streamline process touching 18+ systems utilizing varying data sets.
- Involved in Intelligent Automation use case development related to predictive risk monitoring. In addition, developing MLOps Process methodology and deep learning governance methodology. Kelly has helped develop thought leadership related to governance and responsible AI including Controlling AI, The Shape of Governance to Come, and Intelligent Automation takes Flight. In addition, Kelly speaks at numerous conferences on responsible AI, most recently including: IBM Think, What’s Next in AI web series, The Conference Board, Women Corporate Directors of America.
