Julie is a Managing Director in the Incentives & Credits group for the KPMG Washington National Tax practice. Julie has over 16 years of experience working on tax issues involving businesses, particularly in the oil and natural gas industry. Prior to joining KPMG, she was a Senior Attorney at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Large Business & International Division. At the IRS, she was one of the primary authors of the I.R.C. § 45Q credit for carbon oxide sequestration regulations and served as a subject matter expert for the petroleum and chemical industries.
