Julie has over 13 years of experience working on tax issues involving businesses, particularly in the oil and natural gas industry. Prior to joining KPMG, she was a Senior Attorney at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Large Business & International Division. At the IRS, she was one of the primary authors of the I.R.C. § 45Q credit for carbon oxide sequestration regulations and served as a subject matter expert for the petroleum and chemical industries.
