Managing Director, Tax
Simon is a Managing Director in the KPMG Tax practice and leads the Tax Project Management Group. In this role, Simon oversees a nation-wide team of project managers who provide project management services to high value Tax clients.
Previously, Simon was in the KPMG M&A Tax practice and has experience advising private equity and corporate buyers on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions involving transactions ranging in size from several million to $10 billion

Simon has experience in project management, strategic consulting, and transaction tax consulting.
Key Initiatives include:
- Establishing a client-facing project management services team which provides project management services with a focus on premier tax clients.
- Over 10 years of experience managing large scale tax engagements and currently serving in a lead project management capacity for various large-scale clients in Tax.
- Advised clients in performing buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence, tax structuring, transaction agreement review, post-acquisition integration and compliance.
Other Professional Experience
Prior to joining KPMG, Simon specialized in advising clients on transaction tax matters, general business credits and export incentives.
