Carrie Casciani

Carrie is the Growth and Markets Leader, Audit and Assurance, KPMG US and has more than 25 years of experience serving the insurance, banking and healthcare sectors. She provides audit and advisory services to publicly held and private companies and brings deep experience in US GAAP, statutory accounting, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley and PCAOB matters.

Before rejoining KPMG, Carrie served as Chief Audit Executive and Chief Risk Officer at Cigna, where she advised the Audit Committee on enterprise risks and led internal audit, enterprise risk management, business continuity and special investigations. In that role, she modernized the global internal audit function and delivered assurance on strategic priorities including cybersecurity, data integrity, acquisitions and ESG reporting.

Carrie currently serves as the KPMG National Audit & Assurance Growth Enablement Leader, responsible for enabling the firm’s audit growth strategy across the United States. She previously led growth strategy for one of KPMG’s largest business units, working closely with more than 100 audit partners, and is known for pairing strong market insight with practical execution in complex environments.

Carrie earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management from Hartwick College and is a CPA licensed in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
