Leah is a director in the KPMG Internal Audit and Controls practice, based in Las Vegas, NV. With over 19 years of experience in audit and finance in a variety of industries, Leah has successfully built and led audit teams that perform strategic and innovative risk-based audits for organizations with complex and diverse portfolios. With a passion for risk assessment and management, process design and improvement, and internal audit, she enjoys working with extraordinary leaders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Leah has experience building an internal audit department from the ground up and has led financial, compliance, and operational internal audit projects in various industries throughout her career. Industries include: Hospitality & Gaming, Food & Beverage, Real Estate, Entertainment, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Retail & Consumer Markets.
Leah is a Certified Internal Auditor. She began her career with KPMG Portland after graduating from the University of San Diego. Leah then worked at Rio Las Vegas, where she successfully transitioned the management from Caesars Entertainment to Dreamscape Companies in October 2023. As the Director of Internal Audit at Dreamscape, Leah was responsible for all internal audit functions for gaming compliance, reporting directly to the Audit Committees of the Boards of Directors.
