Cathy Bedrick
US Deal Advisory & Strategy Transactions Leader
Cathy is the US Deal Advisory & Strategy Transactions Leader, overseeing the Financial Due Diligence team, the Accounting Advisory Services team and the Corporate Finance team. In this role she oversees the offerings that support KPMG’s clients through various stages of a transaction. Cathy also holds the role of Transactions leader for the Americas. Prior to becoming Transactions leader, Cathy was the Financial Due Diligence Leader for US Deal Advisory & Strategy for five years.
Cathy has over 25 years of transaction advisory experience focused on both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence assistance primarily for private equity clients.
Cathy has advised both financial and strategic buyers on buy and sell side transactions ranging in size from $1 million to $5 billion. Her experience includes working on numerous roll-up acquisitions, carve-out transactions and take-private transactions as well as assisting on global and multinational targets. Cathy has assisted with transactions across a variety of sectors including veterinary, business services, rental assets, retail, consumer products, manufacturing and real estate.
Outside of her roles at KPMG, Cathy serves on the Dean’s Council for the Kelley School of Business, an undergraduate and graduate business school for Indiana University Bloomington and Indiana University Indianapolis.
