Background

Alex is a Director in the KPMG Deal Advisory & Strategy (DAS) practice, providing international and domestic buy-side, sell-side and other transaction related advisory services to private equity clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other recapitalization events.

Professional and Industry Experience

  • Alex’s professional experience spans 10+ years with an industry specialization that focuses on industrial manufacturing as well as software as a service investing.
  • He has led or assisted on 100+ transactions for corporate and private equity clients and has also assisted clients on capital markets transactions including IPOs.
  • Outside of buy-side and sell-side diligence, Alex has significant experience in pre and post close deal preparation, including negotiating / structuring purchase and sale agreements, preparing and analyzing closing statements, funds flows amongst other responsibilities.
  • Prior to joining KPMG in the US in 2022, he was part of the KPMG UK Transaction Services team.
