Global and U.S. Sector Lead, Engineering and Construction
Geno is the Global Practice Leader for KPMG’s Major Projects Advisory business, as well as the international leader for KPMG’s engineering and construction sector.
Geno has nearly 30 years of domestic and international development and construction experience. Geno has extensive experience in assisting clients with construction development strategies, troubled project recovery, claims and disputes, project controls, vendor source selection and negotiation, forensic project analysis, cost and compliance auditing, organization and project/program evaluations, benchmarking, and program/project delivery in highly complex environments. Prior to joining KPMG, Geno worked both in a Fortune 100 corporate real estate and construction group and was a project manager for a top 10 ENR ranked international engineering and construction company.
Geno is actively involved in the industry. He serves as the firm’s spokesperson at the World Economic Forum Engineering and Construction group, and is active in a myriad of other organizations including the Engineering Construction Risk Institute, Edison Electric Institute, American Gas Association, and the Construction Financial Management Association. Geno publishes KPMG’s annual Global Construction survey as well as other industry thought leadership publications.
Geno holds a BS with Honors, from the College of Engineering and Architecture, Washington State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of Washington.
