Jamie is a senior manager and has a full range of experience in all aspects of unclaimed property, including multi-state general ledger audits, quantification of unclaimed property liability, statistical sampling, voluntary compliance programs and the development of leading practices. Furthermore, Jamie has facilitated a turn-key annual compliance reporting process for clients across numerous industries.
Jamie has represented numerous Fortune 500 clients in the defense of unclaimed property audits, resulting in tens of millions in total client savings.
Jamie has extensive experience in unclaimed property consulting for the healthcare, oil and gas, insurance, manufacturing, and retail industries and has assisted with diagnostic reviews, annual compliance services, and the development of policies and procedures for many Fortune 500 companies.
Jamie also has experience in the development and implementation of various unclaimed property reporting systems and the improvement of unclaimed property policies and procedures, customized to meet a company’s annual unclaimed property compliance needs.
Prior to joining KPMG, Jamie assisted the her prior employer in completing a Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 Type 2 audit on the company’s unclaimed property policies, procedures and infrastructure for data protection, security, and confidentiality.
Jamie is a Certified Fraud Examiner and holds a BS in Accounting from University of Southern California.
