Chris is a partner in KPMG’s power and utilities practice where he delivers audit services to public and privately held entities and to components of international companies.
Chris has over 20 years of accounting and financial reporting experience with experience in various sectors of the industry, including regulated utilities, independent power producers, and development and operating renewable companies.
With a client focused mindset, Chris excels at bringing KPMG’s multidisciplinary model thinking to each of his clients. He leverages his own experiences and that of KPMG subject matter experts in KPMG’s Tax and Advisory practices while working with his clients.
Chris has extensive experience in US GAAP and IFRS with topics such as revenue recognition, government grants, derivatives, variable interest entities, business combinations, divestitures, fresh start/bankruptcy, and asset impairment. He also works on various projects, including instructing technical accounting training courses to KPMG professionals and college students, and creating training materials for those courses.
