Asset managers today face increasing complexity, shifting market dynamics and heightened expectations from investors. In this environment, the ability to deploy capital with discipline, clarity and purpose is essential. This series features insights from Nadine Buckland, Co‑Founder and CEO of Zenzic Capital, and Ilce Kozaroski, U.S. Industry Leader – Private Credit and Retail Alternatives at KPMG US, on how a focused strategy and strong partnerships drive meaningful opportunity. We highlight the principles behind long‑term value, from thoughtful capital formation to flexible lending and the trusted relationships that enable growth, offering insight to help leaders navigate change with confidence.
I think you go down a very slippery path as a manager if you start to dilute your strategy to accommodate investors’ likes and dislikes of your strategy. We’ve really tried to stick very firmly to making sure that the investors that do come in really understand the full suite of the types of transactions we’re doing within the strategy, and they want exposure to them all. What we don’t really want to compromise on is that strategy - that’s our thesis.
