KPMG US Continues to Pave the Way for AI Excellence with Google Agentspace

The energy around Agentic AI is undeniable. Trusted AI solutions are no longer optional—they are mission-critical.

The energy around Agentic AI is undeniable. KPMG US continues to monitor leaders’ perspectives on AI strategy, investment, adoption and trust. The KPMG AI Pulse Survey of 2025 shows significant shifts since the last quarter. The survey indicates 63% of business leaders plan to deploy AI agents developed by trusted technology providers over the next year to fuel growth and secure a competitive advantage. Trusted AI solutions are no longer optional—they are mission-critical. KPMG GenAI Study: Investment and talent strategies

In complete alignment with these findings, KPMG US recently announced the expansion of the KPMG US AI alliance with Google Cloud.

KPMG US Piloting of Google Agentspace

To truly understand the potential of this transformative technology, KPMG US has piloted Google Agentspace NotebookLM Enterprise within the US firm, ahead of a firmwide rollout this fall. Early users of NotebookLM have been asked to assess the performance across five key criteria - with a view to accelerating our clients’ transformation journeys and enhancing the experience of KPMG employees.

The results were impressive:

1

Interoperability: Agentspace provides an openness that allows interconnectivity to a broad range of customer solutions; this will help KPMG accelerate our customers’ transformation journeys. It will also give KPMG one platform our employees can go to in order to access our AI capabilities and agents across enterprise software systems

2

Capability: Out-of-the-box capabilities of deep research and feature functionality are strong elements. Agentspace makes it easy for people to extract data and provides valuable information back to users – in multimodal outputs (podcasts, visual mind maps, websites, YouTube videos, prebuilt FAQs, summaries, to name just a few). KPMG’s users shared it is one of the most exciting things we’ve seen in the enterprise engineering space.

Agentspace brings Google-level search to the corporate setting. Pilot users valued its ability to easily switch between internal and external. When providing a result from a search of internal data sources, Agentspace provides a user- friendly connection to internet search results through the simple click of a button.

3

Insights: While content searches are performed with ease, NotebookLM Enterprise provides instant insights, along with the ability to discover insights and information about a multitude of agents.

4

Ease of use: We found Agentspace to be easy to use — even for non-technical personnel. The out-of-the-gate configuration is intuitive, making it easy to understand its capabilities, along with the ability to tailor the technology to our organization’s requirements and culture.

Part of what makes it so easy to use is because it brings familiar Google search capabilities into the enterprise environment. It’s ability to sort through often duplicate, unconcise, disparate, datasets and provide synthesized content in digestible formats has gone way beyond expectations.

5

Ease of setup: We were able to install, connect to large enterprise platforms, and gain deep insights from indexed data within an hour or two.

You had me at interoperability

These experiences have made KPMG US even more enthusiastic as we continue to build on the expanded alliance with Google Cloud.

Looking ahead - KPMG US is on a mission to work with Google Cloud and other key alliance companies across our ecosystem to help ensure that AI agents continue to be secure, efficient, and aligned with market and client needs. In addition, KPMG US continues to collaborate within our ecosystem to develop industry-centric AI solutions – in the coming weeks we will share more details about this rapidly evolving arena.

Stay tuned - we’re excited to see what the future holds.
