Industries

Helping clients meet their business challenges begins with an in-depth understanding of the industries in which they work. That’s why KPMG LLP established its industry-driven structure. In fact, KPMG LLP was the first of the Big Four firms to organize itself along the same industry lines as clients.

The 2025 Tax Policy Trifecta: A Post-Election Analysis for Tax and Trade

CPE 1.0

Webcast

Webcast overview

Tax executives are facing three significant disruptors coming together at the same time – the expiration of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) provisions, the OECD’s global tax deal and Pillar Two compliance, and ongoing regulatory and executive action changes. These challenges, what KPMG is referring to as the ‘Tax Policy Trifecta’, is happening during a technology revolution with advanced tools like GenAI playing a role in how organizations can respond.

With the U.S. election now behind us, understanding how the results could impact tax policy in the new year is a significant priority for tax executives who need to stay ahead of potential changes and assess what the impact could be on their organizations.

KPMG LLP invites you to a 60-minute webcast that will explore the post-election tax policy landscape and discuss how the election results could drive the 2025 tax agenda and more. During this webcast, professionals from the KPMG Washington National Tax office will discuss the post-election outlook for the following key topics:

  • The legislative agenda for 2025 and impending tax cliff
  • The global tax environment including OECD initiatives and Pillar Two compliance
  • Trade and tariff landscape and measures that the new administration can and may use

Continuing education

There will be one continuing professional education (CPE) credit available to US participants who participate in the live webcast and meet the eligibility requirements. The webcast will last approximately one hour.
