Christopher Wolfe is a Managing Director, Head of North American banks for Fitch Ratings where he oversees Fitch's ratings and analysis of U.S. and Canadian banks. He has enhanced Fitch’s visibility among investors and media through timely and impactful research. He regularly speaks on banking topics with coverage in major media such as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, and appearances on CNBC.  Christopher has created thought leadership on key issues affecting the banking industry such as regulation, interest rates, credit performance, and non-financial risks.  Christopher has also been instrumental in enhancing Fitch’s rating criteria to foster greater transparency for fixed income investors. Prior to Fitch, Christopher worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in credit and risk management. He holds a BA from Alfred University.
