Principal, Advisory, Modeling and Valuation
Clay Gaitskill is a Principal in KPMG’s Modeling and Valuation Practice and leads the Commercial Credit Risk group. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry partnering with leading banks and financial services companies in areas of enterprise credit risk management, risk rating and credit policy, development and implementation credit automation solutions as well as providing credit function risk reviews and problem loan/special asset administration. Over his career, Clay has led numerous traditional credit risk management engagements as well as leading credit due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and recapitalization efforts.
Clay also provides support to KPMG’s audit practice as the lead specialist for testing substantive and control risk ratings as part of the audit of the credit allowance for clients ranging from community and regional to global financial services companies.
