Mark Shaffer

Mark is an Audit partner with more than 30 years of experience providing financial statement audits, audits of internal controls, and accounting advisory services.

Mark has provided professional audit services to a number of large multinational corporations in accordance with PCAOB requirements, U.S. GAAP and IFRS. He has served as the lead audit partner for more than a dozen SEC registrants and has assisted clients in many industries with public debt and equity offerings as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has a thorough understanding of SEC rules and regulations. His role as lead partner includes regular communication with client executives and boards of directors on emerging risks, regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Mark is a member of the Indiana University Kelley School Dean’s Advisory Council and Accounting Advisory Group. He has held various board and committee roles, serving the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, the Indiana CPA Society, the Carmel Dads Club and Horizon House.
