Scott Harper
Principal, Business Tax Services
Scott is a principal in KPMG’s Chicago Business Tax Services practice. He has 30 years of relevant tax experience and has spent more than 20 years serving financial services companies in various roles with KPMG, Capital One Financial Corporation and Allstate Insurance Company. Scott is KPMG’s National FinTech Tax Leader, West Area Insurance Tax Leader and Chicago Business Unit Banking Tax Leader.
Scott has significant tax experience in tax compliance and planning, ASC740 and FIN 48, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, deal structuring, and tax department transformation.
