David Dicristofaro
Financial Services Line of Business Leader
David DiCristofaro is the Financial Services Line of Business Leader at KPMG in the U.S. In this role, he leads the firm’s cross functional growth strategy across Audit, Tax and Advisory for Financial Services. David is currently a member of KPMG’s Global Financial Services leadership team, and served on KPMG’s Americas and US Board of Directors from 2018 to 2022.
David has more than 30 years of experience serving major global, national, and regional banks in financial, governance, risk, compliance, operations and technology roles. He has led major business, regulatory, and risk transformations at financial services institutions that have led to cost savings, efficiency realization, and risk reduction.
David has held numerous leadership roles at KPMG including his most recent role as the National Partner in Charge of Risk Management Advisory for the Americas, where he aligned risk management activities with business strategies and objectives to drive quality growth during a time of unprecedented innovation and disruption. He has also served as the Global, Americas & U.S. Risk Consulting Information Technology Advisory Service Line Leader, the Service Line sponsor for Global and U.S. Cyber Strategic Growth Initiatives, and as lead partner for a number of large banking clients, leading transformations and delivering technology solutions to meet business, financial, risk, and regulatory requirements.
David holds a CPA license in the state of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. David received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Siena College in Loudonville, NY.
