Nicole de Jager

Nicole began her career at KPMG South Africa in 2008, and has over 12 years’ experience specialising in government and tax incentives and more than 4 years’ experience specialising in carbon tax. In 2022, she joined KPMG’s global tax and legal decarbonisation hub and expanded her areas of specialization to include the European Green Deal and Fit for 55 Package. She also has experience reporting and conducting audits in terms of International Standards on Auditing and managing regulatory assurance services concerning reporting to the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition and the South African Reserve Bank.

Nicole’s industry experience includes listed and non-listed clients within the automotive, construction, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, mining, energy, telecommunications and tire recycling sectors.

She holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in South Africa.
