[0:12] Sean: Couple of industries which really I'm excited about. Let's talk a little bit about consumer and retail.
[0:16] Sanjay: So, you know, we've seen a lot of common threads across both industries, right? There's a lot of opportunities to reduce technical debt. A lot of our customers are on legacy applications. A lot of our customers are seeing opportunities to transform.
[0:27] Sanjay: And you know with this whole AI AI, you know, there's a great opportunity, a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something really different for the business and really get ready for the next generation of workers and the next generation of work that you need to do. That's by the way, it's very different than today. And the other thing, the most important thing that I'm seeing in my customer base is they're looking for a consumer grade experience. They want to know where is their order, right? How I request time off, right? How do I go.
[0:51] Sanjay: Onto a portal and see what what benefits I have, um, you know, what's paid, what's not paid, right? And, and those things, um, are really do for, for a for a transformation. And that's really what Oracle enables.
[01:03] Sean: I totally agree. What are you seeing in retail now?
[01:05] Sanjay: Retail has, you know, a big labor force, as you can imagine, so there's a real, you know, concerted effort to get close to the employees as well as the customers, right? So making sure that there's the right.
[01:15] Sanjay: merchandizing mix, but also the right solutions for the employees to ensure that, you know, they have all the tools they need at their fingertips to make the right decisions, right?
[01:23] Sanjay: The other thing that we're seeing is there is a desire to remove monotonous repetitive work out of the hands of, you know, folks and have them do more value-added work, and I think that's really an opportunity that Gen AI and AI bring to the
[01:36] Sanjay: table.
[01:37] Sean: And Oracle's investing heavily with AI in apps, aren't they? 100%. So you're
[01:42] Sean: seeing it, right?
[01:43] Sanjay: Absolutely. And and RAI strategy is it shows up with.
[01:46] Sanjay: Application and it's always super secure because we own the whole stack, right? So all the way from the hardware from the data center, all the way to the application layer because we own the whole thing and we control it and we understand the synergies across the stack, we have a really unique
[01:59] Sean: Well, I agree, and when we couple some of our thought leadership with yours, right, because if you think about it, we're trying to drive process to your point. I'd like to automate a close 100%. I'd like to have a forecast just on my fingertips without actually spending days and hours and weeks trying to pull together information.
[01:59] Sanjay: opportunity.
[02:16] Sean: That coupled with the technology that Oracle's building, I think the future is brighter than bright.
[02:21] Sanjay: 100%. Technology coupled with best practices with the IP that you guys bring to the table and and managing the change for our customers, right, which is very, very critical and it's a big change. That's what enables this sort of transformation and the value that our customers
[02:34] Sanjay: get.
[02:34] Sean: I think you and I have been raised in this.
[02:37] Sean: to say we always deliver value to our clients, but what does it mean now?
[02:40] Sanjay: It was really critical to me and, and to the rest of the leadership team. What happens once the customer commits to Oracle, right, and KPMG. You go through a project and then you go live, right? But what happens after go live, right? Do we have all the right resources at the table, be it customer success, implementation success.
[02:57] Sanjay: Development advocacy, um, making sure that we have the right change management in place, making sure that we have the right advisory frameworks in place, looking at designs jointly with our, you know, with our parties to make sure one, the goal live goes successfully and then after go live, what do we do to surround our customers with the right resources that are helping them continue to create value, right?
[03:18] Sanjay: So what we've done is we've really surrounded the customer with a lot of our resources that are beyond just your account executives, account managers, uh, and technical resources. So there's a lot of teams that we have in place to make sure that one, you go live on time and on budget, and then two, you continue to get value out of our solutions. That's a really, really big focus for us. We've seen. There are options out there and we want to make sure our customers stay on Oracle for a very, very long
[03:42] Sanjay: time.

[03:45] Sanjay: I know we're gonna do big things. Yeah.
